WACOG Area Agency on Aging Area Plan 2024-2026 Public Hearing and Comment

The Western Arizona Council of Governments, WACOG, will host a Public Hearing virtually on May 18th, 2023, from 3:30 to 4:30 pm. The hearing will consist of a presentation of the WACOG Area Agency on Aging, Area Plan 2024 – 2026, Goals, Objectives, and Action Steps.
The State of Arizona’s Aging and Adult Services, State Unit on Aging, develops a “State Plan on Aging” and has developed the Goals and Objectives each Area Agency on Aging must incorporate into their Area Plans. Each Area Agency on Aging then may add additional Goals and or Objectives as they deem necessary. Action Steps and Outputs/Outcomes are then developed to address each Goal and Objective.
The virtual presentation will allow for comment after each Goal, associated Objectives, and Action Steps are presented. Record of all comments and or questions will be recorded and provided as exhibit to WACOG’s Area Plan 2024 – 2026. The meeting details are below.
