To apply for any of the position vacancies listed, send a completed WACOG application form and any required supplemental forms, i.e. resume, certificates, licenses and verification of education, by the final filing date. Any required materials received after the final filing date will not be considered. A separate application is required for each position you are applying for. APPLICATIONS MUST BE IN OUR OFFICE ON OR BEFORE THE CLOSING DATE OF THE POSITION. APPLICATIONS POSTMARKED OR RECEIVED AFTER THE CLOSING DATE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

POSITION DEFINITIONS

'Open Until Filled'positions: Applications are screened at the end of ten working days (first review) after opening the position. Thereafter, if the position remains unfilled, applications may be screened approximately every ten working days until the position is filled. Applicants should file an application as soon as possible because these positions will remain open only until the needs of the agency are met. When the agency determines enough applications have been received (after the open 'ten working days' requirement has been met), the position may be closed immediately at 5:00 p.m. of that business day.

'Closing Date'positions: Applications are accepted for a period of ten (10) working days, and at 5:00 p.m., at the end of ten (10) working days, the position closes. At that time, applicants meeting the minimum qualifications of the position may be selected for an interview or the position may be re-posted.

"Open Continuous"positions: Applications are accepted on a continuous basis and kept on file for a maximum of ninety (90) days. Should a vacancy occur, the applications are processed upon request from the department. At that time, applicants meeting the minimum qualifications of the position may be selected for an interview.

Applicants are encouraged to submit a resume with the official WACOG application form. A RESUME WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED IN LIEU OF THE OFFICIAL APPLICATION FORM.

APPLICATIONS MUST BE FILLED OUT COMPLETELYand must clearly demonstrate that the applicant meets or exceeds minimum qualification of the position or has an equivalent combination of experience and additional education/training that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Volunteer experience will be considered if listed in the job history portion of an application, with all information completed.

ALL INFORMATION SUBMITTED IN APPLICATION MATERIALS IS SUBJECT TO INVESTIGATION AND VERIFICATION. Any false statements or omissions may subject the applicant to disqualification or to dismissal if hired.
